My Journey

I grew up in a modest home with incredibly hard-working parents. My mother committed her life to helping me find God and faith. The church we attended (she still attends today) shaped me in amazing ways. They taught me how to love others, serve in God's name, and take study, worship, and Christ seriously. However, it wasn't until I was on my own at Abilene Christian University where I found my own faith and began to not only discover, but grow in what I knew to be true about God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. Following college and beginning full-time in ministry I continued to date this wonderful woman who would eventually be my wife. Leah is my best friend and the love of my life. In 2008 we had twin sons, Brody and Dylan who teach me about the love and joy of God each day. In 2013 we had precious promise born, Brynn Leigh. She is the perfect picture of beauty and grace. As a family we have realized the need for the church and that this time on earth is a journey. This journey is not about simply arriving in our thinking or serivice, but rather an ongoing relationship with God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, the church, and those who have yet to begin their travel. I'm far from perfect! I am a servant of God now and yet still anticipate the perfection to come with Christ's arrival. My mission is to gather people together to join the journey and be an outpouring of God for the sake of others.
